Meet Rigo, Downey’s Hands-On General Contractor
Regulo “Rigo” Hernandez Poceros spent years as a handyman, fixing and building for the people around him. He recently earned his California General B contractor license, and RH Construction And Renovation is the company he built to turn that experience into larger projects: full remodels, tile and flooring, framing and construction.
Most of his work has always come from neighbors and friends telling each other, and that is still how he wants to earn it. He runs the company with a small crew, so the person who walks your house and writes the quote is the one standing behind the finished job.
The tile shower pictured is one of Rigo’s projects.

Stats So Far
Why Downey homeowners call Rigo
You deal with the owner
RH Construction And Renovation is Rigo’s own company. The number on this page is his, so the person you describe the project to is the person responsible for getting it built right.
A licensed general contractor
Rigo spent years doing handyman and repair work before earning his California General B license (#1162715). The step up means he can take on the larger remodels and construction jobs he has been working toward.
One crew for the whole job
Plumbing, framing, tile, flooring, paint and block work come from one small crew instead of five different trades you have to schedule and chase yourself.
Spanish or English
Explain the project the way you would to a neighbor. Calls, texts and WhatsApp messages are welcome in either language, so nothing is lost in translation.
Serving Downey and neighboring cities
Downey is home base. We also take on projects in the cities around it, from Norwalk and Bellflower to Paramount and South Gate, where many homes are old enough to be due for a remodel.

Call or text (714) 586-3088, or request a free quote online. Tell us what you want changed: a bathroom that needs to be gutted, floors that are worn out, a wall you would like gone.
We walk the job and quote it
We come to see the space, ask what you are trying to achieve and explain the scope, the options and what is driving the price before anything starts.
We build it
The work is scheduled around your household, the area is protected and kept as clean as a working jobsite allows, and you hear from us when something changes.
We walk it with you and follow up
Before we call a job finished we go through it with you, fix what you point out and stay reachable afterward if a question comes up.
